Importing from audio CD in VS10+

Hello,
When I try to import a track of music from a CD to a certain location in the timeline, the clip is located at the end of the other audio clips, so I have to drag it all the way to desired location.
I will be grateful to have the response of other users.

Your other option is to delete it from the end of the timeline where VS will put it, and then grab it from the library, where it will also be, and insert it into either of the audio tracks on the timeline wherever you want it.
