Lost Video Filter In Dropdown List - VS10+
In starting a new video project, I noticed that the "Video Filter" is not available in my drop down list. I have "Video", "Image", "Audio", "Color", "Transition", "Title", "Decoration", "Flash Animation" and "Library Manager". But no "Video Filter". I opened up a previous project which has lots of video filters applied to the tracks, but no "Video Filter" is available in my drop down list. Could it be that I have changed my project preferences, or some other set-up to cause this?
Same thing happened to me a few days ago. I opened up VS10+
as usual and opened up a project I was working on and noticed
on my drop list that the "video filters" were gone. I did not do
anything different. All the other features such as transitions, color, etc
were all there. I unstalled VS10+ and reinstalled and the video filters
reappeared. No sure what happened.

Still No Video Filter
Not good. I uninstalled VS10+ and reinstalled it and still have no video filter. Has anyone else had this problem?
I have also had this problem with VS9 and VS10, I suspect that it is caused by adding 'Extras' like Burger Transitions, or Extra Masks.
I solved the problem by creating a new Windows User profile, then:-
From an XP user profile that works correctly, look for the file Vfilter.rsf located in C:\Documents and Settings\USERXX\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\10.0 or the location specific to your system, and copy it to the correspondent location of your XP profile, C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR-USER-NAME\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\10.0
You will find that the Video Filters will be available now in your own profile, and you can delete the new profile that you previously created.
