Blue screen
Here's some more info to help determine which color screen to use.

(PS that's excluding shipping and duty once it gets here, total probably doubles)
[Edit] All this talk of commission - I don't think even Charlie gets a commission. I think he's been doing it since MSP 6 and the project has just started paying for itself.
Hehehe, I couldn't really afford the book either, but I've had MSPro 8 since November and love it. I like it better than VS9. But I got the book last week and have already learned a bunch of things that I hadn't found in the user's manual or under "Help".
As for the Blue Screen option -- and getting back to the original question -- I have been using it since right before I got MSPro and have had a lot of problems with lighting issues. I have finally found a room that I can put my green cloth on the wall and leave it there. You might also get different colors if your cloth needs to be ironed. After hanging it, get a steam iron to get the wrinkles out, or pull it tight enough that they come out.

Re: Blue screen
Wyeast, I haven't used MSPro 6, I started out with 8. But in 8, you just lay down your background on V1 and the "talent", as some people call it, on V2, or higher. Right click on the first frame of the "talent" and set your overlay option to Bluescreen. It will change all of the frames to the end of that clip. After getting it just the way you like it, right click on that clip and click "Copy". Right click on the next clip and hit "Paste Attributes" and it will ask if you want to paste moving path and/or overlay options. That will keep it the same all the way through.
Hope this helps, I'm doing this from memory, but I do it all the time so it should be close to correct.

I have videoed a scene using a blue screen background, but my blue screen has many shades of blue. How would I eliminate some of these extra shades, so I can make the background disappear? Also, is there a way to do multiple frames, so each frame doesn't have to be done individually. I use Media Studio Pro 6.0
