Multiple text / different timing

Post by millertcb »

Hi all,

First time poster here. I have learned much from this very knowlegable group so I thought I would post this question for some help.

I want to have multiple text (different names appearing) but I want to control when they appear on the screen without having to loose the text that already appeared, and control when they will fade out.

I am using vs10 plus. I know I can have multiple titles on one page, however I don't seem to be able to set different entry and exit points for each title when dealing with multiple title on one page. They all seem to appear and fade out at the same time.

Thanks,

Bill

Hi Bill and welcome to the forums..:)

To put this as simply as I can, you must select an animation for your title that can use the "User Defined" pause duration option. Clicking on the TT beside your title animation in the customize dialogue, you should have User Defined as one of the options.

Then using the "Trim handles" now called "Pause/Duration" you can drag them to the left and right. The longer the blue bar, the longer the pause, and shorter the animation, like fade-in/fade-out. So if you drag the handles to the left, it would have a fast entry, and slow exit. Do this for each of the Multiple titles.

Hope that helps you...:)
