Problem chapters VS 10 trial version

Hi,

Nature of the problem :
I have a project with some (80) avi captured from my Panasonic camera.
I've added transactions, some effects and titles.
I've manually added 6 chapters.
When I go to next phase (creation of menus), on the chapters menu, the chapters thumbnails aren't the same! There are different frames!
Even more, I go back , delete all chapters and when I want to add them again, the frames aren't at the same place : exemple I have the second champter at 18 minutes and 32 seconds (in my project), and now at this time (18m32s) I got another frame, which was 2 minutes letter (20m..).

I've tried many times to remake all chapter but allways I got the same time.

It's strange because I've already made a first DVD with no problems.
