Agreed 100%. It's sort of like the "you should use the recommended procedures approach in the top sticky..."I just think we should all preface more with "in my experience...." rather than making statements which may be interpreted by some as being factual rather than opinion.
Don't get me wrong, I agree that following alot of the procedures/tips can help sort out problems for some users, but others can happily use their VS timeline in the disc creation step -- it just depends on what they are doing, their video source type/quality, and how the stars are aligned that day -- did I just open another can-o-worms
Luckily, computers have gotten faster, and software has gotten better (sometimes it's two steps forward, one step back). So as technology/software evolve, we should all be open minded about changing age-old beliefs and recommendations...
