I just think we should all preface more with "in my experience...." rather than making statements which may be interpreted by some as being factual rather than opinion.
Agreed 100%. It's sort of like the "you should use the recommended procedures approach in the top sticky..."

Don't get me wrong, I agree that following alot of the procedures/tips can help sort out problems for some users, but others can happily use their VS timeline in the disc creation step -- it just depends on what they are doing, their video source type/quality, and how the stars are aligned that day -- did I just open another can-o-worms :?: :wink:

Luckily, computers have gotten faster, and software has gotten better (sometimes it's two steps forward, one step back). So as technology/software evolve, we should all be open minded about changing age-old beliefs and recommendations...
