file format : ntsc dvd
video type - mpeg-2 video, lower field first
total frames - 47 frame(s)
attributes- 24 bits, 720 by 480, 4:3
frame rate: 29.970 frames/sec
data rate - variable bit rate (max. 8000 kbps)
Audio type - mpeg audio layer 2 files
layer - 2
bit rate - 224 kbps

i'm trying to burn a dvd to view on my t.v,
is this correct format,
because for some reason
my dvd won't play it, says incorrect disc,

i've authorized the dvd i'm not sure if i did it correctly
i'm using ulead 8.0 pro

if anyone can help that would be great thanks alot

You have posted this in the Tutorials Section.
By 'ulead 8.0 pro ' do you mean MediaStudio or VideoStudio?
I will then move this post to the correct forum so that the experienced users of that forum can offer more help.

My initial thought is that you have simply burned a copy of the MPEG file onto a DVD disc without actually authoring a DVD.

By this I mean creating a DVD Menu and then on the disc you will find two folders:
Audio_TS
Video_TS

In the Video_TS directory you should find files with names ending
VOB IFO BUP

EDIT:
I have now been informed by the Poster that she is using Media Studio 8

It's a mighty short dvd at just 47 frames!!!!

I wouldn't use mpeg audio, try either lpcm or ac-3.

Then check your dvd player will play the discs you have, see
