Encoding audio 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound VS 8.0

Hello

I use Videostudio 8.0 to capture, edit and burn dvds from my DV camcorder. Is it possible to encode audio in the final DVD (to be viewed on TV) with 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound? I have SE version of UVS 8.0 and do not see this opion in the final DVD BURN secion but I may be missing it. Thanks in advance

5.1 Surround is new in Video Studio 10 Plus. (The "free" SE version can't even encode 2-channel Dolby AC3.)

I think DVDDoug means VideoStudio 10 plus - Visual Studio is a Microsoft programme

Yeah, I have Visual Studio too... Well, not the whole thing, just Visual C++.
