I use VS 8.0 and have roughly 4.2 GB DV file I am tryting to burn on DVD. File is AVI and was also caught using ULEAD VS 8.0. AT 97 % point of conversion, ULEAD stops with error message FAILED TO ENCODE
Does UVS 8.0 have any limitation with 4 GB file size? I am using WIN XP home PC Pl help

I take it your 'burning from the timeline'
Instead try firstly creating a DVD compliant MPEG2 file.
Clear the timeline by starting a new project. Go to the share tab and select create disc then import the MPEG2 file and try again.
