I've got PhotoImpact and would like to use it to make my own DVD menu template, probably starting with an existing one so that all of the necessary objects are defined, etc.
The one thing I'm not sure of is where the custom template should be stored. Which folder does it go in, and is there anything else that needs to be updated so that it is recognized? I seem to remember trying to copy some templates that I liked from VS7 into the VS8 folders and they were not recognized. I also seem to remember a message on the old forum about the custom-template folder not working quite right. What's the real scoop?

Placing it in c:\Program files\Ulead sytems\Video Studio(or similar)\template\(any category folder available) should make it available in whatever category you put it in. Don't know about the custom option.gordonwd wrote:

Good idea but don't be afraid to experiment. At the worst it won't work.
