Videostudio 10+ and DVD burning

Post by nickyt »

I have downloaded the trial version of this with a view to buying the full version. I am very new to camcorders and DVD burning and have had trouble reading my DVD in the DVD player linked to my TV. I gather this is because I had not 'finalised' or TOC'd the DVD.
I cannot seem to find out whether or not this software will do this automatically for me so can anyone help me as to how I can find this out? There doesn't seem to be any sort of Help on the trial version and I cannot find an answer on the website either!
Many thanks.

If you created the DVD using VS10+ then it would have finalised the disc for you automatically so you need not worry about that.
First of all you should read the "sticky post" at the top of the VideoStudio Board under Product Forums.
It is headed, "Recommended Procedure."
Also you have posted this question in the "Product Tutorials" section of the board so it is a little buried here! As I say, look under Product Forums and you will see the VideoStudio board.
For anyone to really get an idea of oyur problem and how to solve it we really need more data as we cannot see your computer and don't know exactly how you went about what you did.
So read the other sticky called "Please Read This Before Posting."

Thank you for your reply - now I know that the DVD has been finalised I can try to sort out the problem myself.
I'm afraid that I am not a techie and so did not know where to find some of the information required under "Please Read This Before Posting". In fact, I found it quite hard to find out where to post my question in the first place as I have only downloaded the trial version and so have absolutely nothing to refer to in the way on manuals etc!
I'll see how I get on......

I surely will! Should I continue to post under this link or should I start again under the ordinary Videostudio board?
