format to save in to go to DVD workshop

Post by stannmaple »

I just wanted to make sure, the format that I want to save to if I'm going to import into DVD workshop is NTSC-DVD right? Not MPEG-2? Thanks

Stan,
The best method is to prepare your video beforehand in the editing stage by creating a DVD compliant MPEG2 file using your favourite Editor such as VideoStudio / MediaStudio and then importing it into DVD Workshop.

DVD Workshop can convert non compliant files.

Thanks for the help, but I think I may have asked my question incorrectly. I was wondering when I'm using video studio to edit my video, what format to save to if I plan to LATER bring it into DVD workshop. You said to save it as a DVD compliant MPEG file.. would I want to do the "MPEG-2" option or the NTSC-DVD option. I know they are both MPEG, but which one do I want to bring into DVD workshop... which will work the best? Thanks.
