Today's (Friday 11, 2005) Fry's Electronics ad shows Ulead VS8 at their regular store price of $69.99, less an upgrade rebate of $30.00, less a mail-in rebate of $30.00, for a total price of $9.99.
Makes me wonder.

I saw that Fry's ad and took them up on the offer. Then (only after opening the package) did I find the *fine print* that says that bundled versions are *NOT* elegible for the upgrade rebate!!Today's (Friday 11, 2005) Fry's Electronics ad shows Ulead VS8 at their regular store price of $69.99, less an upgrade rebate of $30.00, less a mail-in rebate of $30.00, for a total price of $9.99.
Hmm, that makes me wonder, I have VS7 SE DVD that came with my ADs DVD Xpress, does that mean that I can't get the upgrade price from the ulead website, do I have to get the full version for the higher price?steve4810 wrote:I saw that Fry's ad and took them up on the offer. I think this is dishonest, to say the least.
Any ideas about what I should do (other than take the screwing and smile)?
