Can anyone help? I feel rather stupid. I've got the VS9. I've been trying to clip songs into segmented tracks. I've worked out how to stop and clip with scissors and get the sections with the yellow handles. I've also worked out to go to "share" and create a new sound file for new clipped file. this seems to work fine for the FIRST clipped part of the song. But when I try to do this with the 2nd and subsequent parts of the song, I end up with the long "blank" section in my new saved sound file. I have tried pulling on the handles and clipping again but this is not working. When I put the new sound file back to try and edit again - if I put it back to the beginning - it actually has the WHOLE song back on it. I am at my wits end and have been at this for days and days. Can anyone help?????

I use the free Audio editor Audacity
What you do is export your sound file and you get a file in WAV format.
Open it with audacity. do whatever you want to do and then save the edited file (or in your case files) and then import them back into VideoStudio.
