movie factory5 widescreen is not setting correctly

I just purchased dvd movie factory 5. I am pretty upset.
The widescreen setting makes bars on the side ( left & right)
It should be on the top & bottom.

What is going on?
How can i fix this?

Even when I click preview it is not correct.

And yes I registered this product.

Also I can't get access to many options.

I am so pissed. I want to throw the disc.

Can you tell us the properties of the source video? If the source video is in correct wide-screen format (16:9), then the black bars will be on top/bottom. If the black bars are on left/right then your source video is not in correct wide-screen format.

so you are saying that if i did not record the footage in 16:9 it will not set in 16:9.

maddrummer: Not sure how to do what you are saying.
I can't find an export button.
may be it is call something else.

Will this kill the Quality of the video?

Is there going to be updates for movie factor 5? I don't see any. only for MF4

One more thing.. can i make my own dvd menus? with templets i made?
