Sound is very jerky when burned onto dvd

Post by mm7 »

Hi everyone,
I'm using vs10 and a newbie. I created multiple mpeg files and burned them onto dvd using vs10. When I played it back, the music was all "popping" and sounded horrible.
What have I done wrong?

Hi Michelle,

This has been mentioned about VS10 previously. I have to ask though, what format was your music, MP3? I think you may get better results converting any MP3s to WAV, to use in VS.

You can try reducint the audio level to 75%, or so (on the Edit/Audio screen).

I've noticed "overloaded" audio when converting from MPEG-2 audio to AC3.

Thanks for your help.
Yes it was mp3. I played very jerky on the computer, but when I put it in the dvd player, it was fine.
I will convert the mp3's to wav next time.
