transision

i do have VS7 and now got VS8 no all my transision are BLUE so when i put in two clips put the transision between them it starts of blue and then goes to the next clip.
i did repair VS 7 and it worked all again {VS8 also} restarted my pc and back to square ONE and now also to repair VS7 didn't help !
ANYBODY WITH A SOLUTION for this problem?

I'm not sure if I'm reading your words correctly, but let me try.

You say you are getting a "blue" at the start point from your transition. to the next frame.

What I believe is happening is your first frame, at the very end, needs to be shorten until the video portion is seen, then the transition will start from the end of the first transition and begin to the second frame.
