custom fade in from white filter?

Post by shredding »

Does anyone know if i can custom make a fade in from white or fade out to white filter. Like the one windows movie maker has? Ulead has only a fade out to black filter. Can i utilize other programs' filters in Ulead?

Thanks sjj1805. I searched for this topic first and couldn't find it. Now that picture you have will do the work perfectly. i just need to put 2 white color screen on either side of the clip and cross fade it. Thanks!

Hi again Shredding...:)

I'm going to start this off with a plug for one of the BEST books to learn video editing, Charlie Hill's Getting Results with Video Studio.... You can get it here: http://www.getting-results.com/. He describes how to achieve this effect..

Simply you place 2 white color clips between the 1st and 2nd clips. Then use a cross-fade. The duration for the color clips and the cross-fade transition should be set at 1 second.

That's it...

***EDIT***

I would have had my post done, except the UPS man came...:)
