Video 7 SE hangs Windows Media player in MPEG Playback
After unsuccessfully trying to use video 7 I have to admit that this program creates problems with MPEG files in other applications I would get hangs in both Windows Media player and in Premier when these applications attempted to play back and MPEG file does anyone know of a fix. This is my second time finding this failure luckily I created a restore point and was able to bring my system back to normal after deleting this program so somewhere somehow it changes drivers and codecs
Are you sure it's not the MPEG video files that are getting corrupted???? Have these MPEGs been edited? MPEGs are not meant to be edited, and they sometimes get corrupted when you try.
If the Video Studio installation is really screwing-up your computer, you might try downloading the trial version of Video Studio 10.... If it's worth the "risk" to you!
Version 7 is getting old, and the free SE versions don't usually qualify for updates or support. However, VS7 SE does qualify you for the upgrade price on VS10+.
