Hi Guys,
I'm a relative newcomer to VideoStudio and I am having alot of fun experimenting with it but I have a question about what settings I should've on a project I've started on:
I want to capture about 55mins of footage from my MiniDV camera that I want to chop into roughly 10 minute chunks to put onto a DVD disc to watch on TV.
When I go to 'Share' and Create A Video File the net result seems to be around 630mb for 4 mins of footage or around 230mb but the picture quality looks too poor.
Obviously I want the picture to remain as sharp as possible but I know that I'm going to have to compress it down a bit.
With this in mind could anyone suggest the best Project Preferences and most ideal settings when I 'share' the file and create a Video File?
I am using VideoStudio 9 btw. Any hints or tips would be really appreciated!

Hi Dan
And welcome to the forum
The best method for quality is to capture to Dv-Avi using a firewire connection.
At the top of the video studio forum you will find a recommended procedure.
