PROBLEMS WITH PLAYING MY DVD ON THE DESKTOP DVD.

Post by ponino170 »

Excuse me for my poor English. I'll try to do my best.

My name is David and here is the question. I work with Avid, Sorenson and Ulead. When I finish editing my videos, I make the export of different video files in mpeg format. So, obviously, I import them to Ulead. I worked with them making several chapters and editing my menu. All it's perfect at the moment. I have different tracks, with several chapters and a menu. My first play would be the menu, and I have different buttons to play all the tracks or only some of them.

My problem comes when I play it on my DVD desktop. If I press the next chapter button on my DVD desktop (>>|) when the track finishes (not the chapter, it continues playing correctly until the next track), the DVD returns to the menu instead continue playing the next track. I've tried to play it on other DVD desktops and the problem still becomes.

Waiting for your answer.

Thanks for your attention.

I take it you have DVD Workshop 2 which has a playlist function.
There is a tutorial here:

Not sure if I understand, but try to put a DUMMY Chapter point right at the last I-Frame of each Title (do not link it to any of the menus). Then when you hit the NEXT button, it should go to that dummy chapter point, and then continue playing the next Title.

Regards,
George
