DVD Copying

Post by logantoo »

Having completed various movies and burnt them to DVD can anyone recommend a good programme for copying DVD to DVD? I have an old copy of Roxio Easy CD & DVD V6 and although updated it refuses to recogonise my recorder (although it did once just to confuse the issue!)
Many thanks

You can use the VCD DVD Disc Image Recorder included in VideoStudio 10 to do the DVD copy job. You can find it via Start->Programs->Ulead VideoStudio 10->VCD DVD Disc Image Recorder.

Or open Windows Explorer and double clicks on "C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio 10\BurnIxa.exe".

Hope this helps.

Nero will also do the job.

Many thanks - but please bear with the novice! I am using VS9 and which
includesUlead VCD/DVD Disc Image Recorder but Step 1 requires me to open the disc image file - how do I create a disc image file? I am sorry if this appears basic but I am new to all this and would like to learn.
Thanks once again.

Put the disk you want to copy in your pc's DVD tray and close. In the VCD/DVD Disc Image Recorder, Step 1, click Open and navigate to your DVD drive, click on the image file and choose Open.

Thanks but there are two folders AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS and when I click on them there are no files to open - the appropriate box is "all formats". AUDIO_TS shows as empty but the files under VIDEO_TS which I can see by right clicking include VIDEO_TS Back up file the IFO, VIDEO_TS DVD Movie, VTS_01_0 - VTS_01-5 and certain others. The original was saved using SONY Vegas Studio before I got Ulead VS 9 - I don't know if this makes a difference.

Gave up! Purchased InterVideo DVD Copy 4 Platinum - works fine and DVD copied safely.
Thanks to everyone who tried to help.
