Slicing buttons in Photo Impact 8

Hi, I have photo impact 8. I have sliced images before and done many wonderful things with the program - this is so embarrasing to ask!

But now I can't find my slicing button nor do I know how to find the attribute panel.

Of course, I have checked help and it tells me to select Auto Slice

(where is that?)

I did find the slice button on the left side of my overall screen and selected it and the red line came up around the image - but where do I find the attribute panel that gives me options what to to?

The Knife Icon on the Tool Panel. Or, hit the shortcut key I, (no capitalization necessary).

Clicking on that brings up the Tool Settings - Slice dialog box, and on the Command Menu Bar displays the Auto Slice Options Bar.

With a handle like that, how could anyone be embarrased? Chuckle!!

The whole time I was looking at that icon, I was thinking magic marker. I had to click each one before I finally got to that. It was probably the only thing I didn't click before I queried here. lol

aka SafariWoman - Well believe it or not that is a real nick name because I used to take people on four wheeling, mountain climbing adventures into the rain forest. So, I earned that and if it makes people chuckle - all the better!
