I have Win XP with all updates; P4 3 GHz; 512 MB RAM Plenty of HD free.
When I print 4 different images (all about 2 MB jpegs - which expand to about 10MB each) on one sheet for the first time PE takes about 30 seconds for my printer (Epson R800) to show the Print Preview, after which I can print. Fine, BUT if I then do a secong four images it takes about 5 minutes to get the Print Preview .. and if I do a third lot it can take as much as 10 minutes!! All the time I am waiting my hard drive light is on full time .. and everything else seems to stop.
Can anyone suggest why this should be so .. and what I can do to get things moving quicker?
