VCD not readable in WinDVD or WMP
From what I understand about the VCD format, it is in MPEG1 format, which should be readable in WinDVD and Window Media Player (10). But both players report that the CODEC is unreadable. Other MPG files seem to work fine. I created the file using the SHARE/Create Disk option in ULead Video 8.0. The workaround was to simply copy the .mpg file onto a CD. That seemed to work, although it did not autoplay. I had to open the file specifically within the software. Should I have recorded the CD in SVCD format?
