I'm new;;; Need help with Photo Express 6

I have Photo express 2.0 and just downloaded the newest version 6. It is a 30 free trial, and after everything is installed and I click on the icon, it opens the version 6; There is a place to click that says "TRY", but when I do that everything goes away. Any tips??
