how to remove video noise?
I think that, if I were plagued by the problem, I'd capture the VHS via a Canopus ADVC-300 which has a hardware noise filter specifically for this job, as well as a time-base corrector.

Re: yeah
Makako, did you try the Noise Remover built into MSP8? It's under Audio Filter, Predefined.

hi
Mathis is is a video and image noise remove very good!! but like i said to slow...but do it miracles in your images removing noises...check out www.neatvideo.com...
Re: hi
Okay, I wasn't understanding that you were talking about video noise, I thought you were talking about audio noise in the video. Thankfully, I haven't had that problem yet. And I don't have the programs that neatvideo mentions. So except for the reduce video noise in MSP8, I'm sorry that I can't help you.
Good luck!
Good luck!

No, it's not free. The "free" version gives you a diagonal red line across the screen. No one is going to want a red line across the screen on their finished project. It's US: $20.23 to get rid of the red line. I don't mind paying for quality software, but don't advertise it as free then require payment to make it usable. I think they call that "cripple ware".
And, saying it's free may not be totally false advertising, but it is misleading without telling what you'll get for free.

Sorry, Fizick, I saw that one first when I got to the site and thought it was what you were talking about. Never mind.

I say about my DNR filter (dynamic noise reduction). It is really free without any red line.
I do not say here about my other (shareware) filter. It is not denoiser and not related to this topic.
