Hi,
I have another problem with subtitle.
I am using Tahoma 24pt. Bold, plus backbar.I am using 4:3 frame.
The preview looks OK.But in the actual output the letters look very clumsy! The inverted commas look horrible! And the script seems as if it has been compressed from sides. Overall, it doesn't look beautiful.
I am comparing workshop with DVD-Lab Pro at the moment before I make up my mind to buy one of them.
DVD-lab Pro makes very crisp subtitle with similar font settings.
One of the features I like about DWShop is it's preview feature.Although it doesn't correspond to the actual outcome, it gives me some idea about it, and also any typo could be corrected easily at this point.
Does anyone know how to make the subtitle look more crispy, and to tell me if I am doing something wrong.
Thanks
Clumsy subtitle letters
I don't mean to be offensive, but if Tahoma 24 pt bold looks bad, why the heck use it? This has nothing to do with the software, it is a function of the particular font you have chosen. Personally, I find Arial works just fine for sub-titling, but there are many other sans-serif typefaces available.
