I have both ulead photo impact and ulead cool 3d studio.. I wanted to make a cool 3d with 2 photos included.. so I use photo impact and altered the photos to WMF format.. But when I try to import them into cool 3d I get "Import command only works with closed path data unable to find a closed path in this file."
What do I need to do to correct this?
Thanks
Import error about a closed path?

There are 2 modes supported in WMF, 1 is raster mode, the other is vector mode. COOL 3D/COOL 3D Production Studio only supports the vectory mode WMF.
I think Ulead PhotoImpact only supports to save WMF in raster mode.

So how can I get my photos into Cool 3d using ulead products?
All it cool3d accepts for imports are .AL (which ulead does not support), .emf (which ulead PI does not support, and WMF (which you say ulead does not support the type of WMF that I need to use)
I own ulead Cool 3d, photoimpact, and video studio 7.. Is there anything there that will get a picture convert so that Cool 3d will support it.
I can not believe ulead designed a software system that is incompatable with it's counterparts!

Check http://www.ulead.com/learning/cool3d8/page1.htm and see if it helps. It will work for both Ulead COOL 3D and Ulead COOL 3D Production Studio.
By using the steps in the tutorial you can convert BMP/JPG files to 3D logos in COOL 3D/COOL 3D Production Studio.

Thanks.. but not quite what I am looking for. I tried and though I get something it is like a colorless cutout of shadow objects.. I am looking to bring the photos in that..
I just want to do some thing that shows a photo, then has a grapical movement that wipes it out, then show a different photo, and then set it as a flash image onto a web site. I'm not really looking to make a 3 D photo out of it.. Although I could see a future use to have a photo on oneside that if moved or turned would move from a picture to a blank backing much like holding a true photo. But again that would only be good if I could keep the original photo image..
knowing ulead would produce a flash output, I thought ulead could do this for me.

I'm no Coll #-d expert bu here goes.... Insert a square object. Go to the attribute panel and select texture from the drop down box. Click the folder icon and select your image. From here you need to adjust it to display correctly. Under wrap select mode:flat, normal:Z-, below there make sure the fit width to bounding and fit heith to bounding are enabled.
You may have to adjust it some more there other tweaks in this attribute panel.
