Videostudio 10 Purchase Options - Physical + Download???

Post by austingecko »

Is there an option to purchase VideoStudio (in my case the upgrade) and choose to receive the physical media boxed set in addition to an electronic download?

I want to order it and play around with it over the Holiday weekend but I want to make sure I get the physical boxed set as well.

Thanks in advance!

If you purchase the ESD (Download Version) you are also given an option to purchase a back up CD that will be mailed to you.

Purchase of Backup CD

Thanks for the quick response.

Do you happen to know if the backup cd is the exact same as the retail boxed set? I've read about problems with electronic downloads for various Ulead products, etc and want to make sure I get everything that the boxed set users get.

Thanks again.

It is not the same as the boxed version. It is simply a backup cd.

A Gecko, I recommend you purchase the back-up CD. Some how, I always manage to screw up my original installation, by corrupting my files some how. So..if it wasn't for my CD, I would be in trouble more often.

austingecko,
Try this,
Download the trial version. Then you can "play around with it over the Holiday"
Order the Upgrade boxed version. The reason is the ESD (download) has given people problems for the past 3 or 4 versions.
When your boxed version comes it will have the Cd's AND a manual for reference.
Just be sure to uninstall the trial version before installing the upgrade.
Have a good holiday,
