Question about transition and slide durations

I am currently using VS9 SE and have added several slide shows to my DVDs. Some of them contain >100 slides. Is there a way to batch add a transition between each slide? The dreaded Pinnacle has such a feature but I hate using that program! Also, I would like to increase the duration of all slides and transition durations. Is there a way to do it without having to do each slide and transition separately? I have just ordered MF5. Does it have that capability?

I'd appreciate any help.

In File....Preferences, you can select the option of an automated designated transition between each slide, and set a specific duration for the transition. In the Preferences edit tab, you can select an automated duration for any image/color file added to the timeline

Also image duration within the timeline can be changed ‘Clip menu----Change Image Color Duration’

Use Shift + Click to select images.
