Trial download
I have Video Studio 9 and just downloaded the trial of VS 10. When I tried to install it asks for Disc 1 that contains the file layout bin. Did I miss something?

This is a new one, I've never seen a trial version as for a disc. You might try a re-install. Follow the recommendations for doing a complete clean reinstall found here:

Then you might try unpacking the exe file and running it from the setup file.
