Playlists???

I have been trying to create a DVD in DVDWS Express with a playlist for one of the buttons, but have not been able to get it to work.

The DVD consists of five clips/titles and a menu with a "Play All" button and three motion buttons. What I want to happen is for the first motion button to play the first, fourth and fifth clips in that order when activated.

I have added the fourth and fifth clips to the playlist for the first motion button and have checked the "Link" box in the Playlist options menu. I have made sure that "Play All" is not selected for the Playlist. However, when I activate that menu, it plays the clips in the order on the timeline, that is it plays the second, not the fourth title, after the first title finishes.

The manual and help files (as always) are of no help.

Is there a secret that I am missing to having clips play out of order?

are they physically separate video clips (titles), or do you have a clip that has a chapter point in it?

The playlist deals with completely separate clips (titles).

Did you take one long video and mark in/out points for clip-01, and different in-out points for clip-02?
