Creating a movie 20 minutes in duration. I want the audio clip (1:05 minutes) to automatically repeat throughout the movie. Suggestions?
I tried copying the audio clip one after another but it is not seamless.

Hi John,
There are a couple of ways to do this.
1. With VS10, do as you have done, repeated copies. However overlap them. You will have to experiment with it to get a seemless loop.
2. Do the same as above, but use an audio editor like Audacity. You would be doing the same as above, however you would have more flexibilty..
Just curious, why such a short loop? I would think it would be too repetitive.

I fully endorse Vidoman's comments about using an external audio editor to trim your background audio clip. As you have undoubtedly found, there is just about always a second or two of silence before or after an audio clip. In a wave editing program, you can see the straight line representing this silence on the screen. With most wave editing programs you can also zoom in to increase the size of the wave forms. Then you can snip out the silent bits right up exactly to where the audio actually starts. Then you can copy the edited clip and lay in as many copies end to end in the editor, until you have reached the size of the video it will be accompanying. You can then create a new single file of the repeating audio and insert that back into an audio track of VS.
But like Vidoman, I too worry that having an audio clip repeat around 19 times in a 20 minute video, is going to very quickly become tedious.
