VS10 question

Post by tecstar »

Is the dissolve transition the same as in VS8???
I would like a dissolve that looks like a crossfade. The dissolve looks "granular"( try it and you know what i mean).

I believe VS10 comes with 5 DVD menu templates. Can you download any more?
Are there any more on a bonus cd?
Can you use templates from other versions of VS?

thanks.

The dissolve is "granular" as you say, but there is a crossfade in VS10.

As for your question about DVD templates, you can copy them from other versions or other Ulead products. See http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=13854

The problem I am having with the crossfade in VS8 is that it doesnt seem to cope with the audio very well.
There is a noticeable change in audio between clips. i have tried fading out/in but cant seem to get it clean enough. i was hoping that dissolve might do a better job.
How is Burgers Crossfade? is it any better?

I've never used it, as I have no problem with Ulead's. You may want to consider upgrading to V10 though. VS8 had loads of problems.

Hi

There was a problem when using transitions and audio fade in Video Studio 8.
If you used a transition and audio fade-out then audio fade-in the fade-in just did not work. The audio starting abruptly after the transition.

It has been fixed

I think the original fix was replacing two .dll files
Then included in the main patch.

Install the update patch http://www.ulead.com/tech/vs/vs_ftp80.htm.

Think its this one uvs8_patch1_e.exe

This solved the problem.

If the main update does not work i can send the Dll files
