Hello--
I am trying to burn a series of widescreen clips to DVD with Workshop. Before burning, I have previewed the disc and the widescreen titles are displayed crunched in a 4:3 size frame.
I have tried going into the Output Display Options. Display aspect ratio is grayed out but says 16:9. On widescreen TV is also grayed out; I can only change the On standard TV setting and have tried all 3 settings, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Is there any way to force DVDWS to recognize a clip as 16x9 and allow me to change these options or any other way to solve this problem?
Properties of your source files (format, file size, where did you get it?)
AVI file: Video is DivX and audio is MP3. Each of my files are about 170 MB. I rendered the DivX files after editing them--I chose that format because I've had them sitting on my HD for the last six months and didn't want to deal with big DV files for that long.
What devices are involved and their mode of connection?
Pioneer DVD burner.
Project Settings
Which settings are you looking for here? I am attempting to create a disc image with a motion menu and four clips.
Output format (file, DVD, VCD, SVCD)

Thanks!
