I hope I am not on the wrong tract here but I can ,in VS9,
select only the right or left radio button with "duplcate audio button"
selected.I tried a screen grab to show this but it will not import here as an
image but here is a quote from the VS9 manual, page 121
"duplicating an audio channel allows you to mute the other channel.ie the voice is on the left audio channel + the background music is on the right .When you duplicate the right channel.it will mute the vocal part of ther song leaving the background music to play.To duplicate an audio channel select "duplicate an audio channel" in the options panel then select which audio channel to duplicate

Yes, what I was meaning is that it appeared by your post that you could select the Duplicate audio channel without having the L/R selected. I knew one of the channels had to be selected. I probably misread your post. I was curious on how you managed to have neither channel selected...
