Can Iask if it is possible to change a couple of defaults in UVS9.
I mainly create DVD’s from films that I have captured in MPEG Pal format from a Sky+ PVR using a Easy TV SinoVideo PCI 2309 Proteus 7134 PMCIA card and I have set up a ‘Custom Project Setting’ which I use at the ‘Create Video File Phase’. However as I nearly always use the same Project Properties is there any way I can change the default setting to suit my particular requirements so that when I initially insert my MPEG2 video clip into a new project it won’t ask me ‘Do you want to Set Project Properties …’ as they will already be the same.
Also in Add/Edit Chapter is there a way to change the default ‘Add chapter at fixed intervals’ from the default 3 min so I don’t need to go in every time to change it to my preference of 5 min.

Sorry but I do not think it possible to change the default ‘new project’ template.
Neither afaik can you change the default chapter time.
You could create a project containing your settings, save as my template.
Open project rather than new and you will have the correct settings. The drawback is that you will have to save as ‘another name’ to preserve your template. Much quicker to hit the ‘yes/ok’ to Do you want to Set Project Properties.
