Nature of the problem
When I get to the part of VS where I am about to burn to a DVD, this is what it says:
Required/Available Working Folder Space: [E:] 5.6 GB/ 2.5 GB
Required/Available Disc Space: 3.04 GB/ 4.70 GB
Error Codes
When I click "burn" the message I get is:
"The working folder [E:\Docs.....] may not have enough space. We will help clean the converted cache file. You can also change the working fodler path in Preferences. "
I have changed the working folder path in Preferences to C: because that has a lot more space than my E:, but it doesn't show up as changed once i get back to this part of the program. Am I missing something?

Yes. The burning module uses its own Working Folder. You find it, on opening the module, in the first of the little icons in the bottom left of the screen, and again it is found under Preferences. By default it shows the My Documents/Ulead Systems\Ulead Video Studio 10 folder which is also the default in the main File > Preferences, but it does not automatically change when you change the first working folder. You have to change the second one manually. Good luck!

Thanks Ken - It worked, but now something else!
Ken, thanks for the info. I can't believe i didn't spot that before. I sucessfully burned the dvd and it works fine. the only thing now is that when I play it on a dvd player, the whole thing is in black and white. Now, working in VS 9, all of the video is in color, and it was captured in color, so i can't fathom why it would have burned in black and white. any ideas?
thanks
thanks

Normally. when you get B&W like that, it is a question of a player (in your case an NTSC one) tring to play a PAL disc. In PAL countries (where I live), most modern DVD players can play DVDs of both systems correctly, but I am not sure the converse is true. So first you need to check, if you live in an NTSC country, that you did not inadvertently use PAL settings to burn your disc.
Otherwise, you might need to go into the DVD player's menu and see if there is some setting there which is affecting your playback. Sorry that I can't be more specific on what to look for....
