Transfering onto DVD
I have just installed my copy of videostudio 9 onto my laptop, and when I have compleated rendering my projects I have tryed to transfer them onto DVD with the `share` section of the programme. The first time I tryed I got a message stating `failed to reuse converted cache file (4570)` and then `unspecified error report ID 0x800411 da (4570). What does this mean? When I did change somthing it did work but the end result had the default menu without the music and picture background that I had set. Even going through the prossess again and running it before I burned it still gave me the default menus, what am I doing wrong?

My system has a 2.2 prossesser, 100gig hard drive, intergrated graphics with 128mb, 1 gig ram. I do not understand when you ask if my version of vs9 is patched properly, it worked fine on my main computer and I have burned a copy of a project on the laptop, but it did not keep the background music or image on the menu section. I have checked to see if there is an update for my dvd driver and there isn`t. Also all the projects I have tryed to transfer have already been rendered and saved under a different name and have gone straight to the `share` section to transfer the project.

Hi,
What TDK means by "correctly patched" have you downloaded and installed all the patches, fixes for VS9? They can be found here:
http://www.ulead.com/tech/vs/vs_ftp.htm.
Also with VS9 it is strongly recommended to not try to burn a disc or DVD Folders with anything in the timeline. It is recommended to create a video file (Share>Create Video), which should be a DVD-Compliant MPEG2. Then once that is done, clear the timeline by File>New Project, then go straight to the burn module (Share>Create Disc).
