video denoise plugin

Hi there, there are any video denoise plugin? I saw couple of this for MSP8, like Alparysoft desnoise and another one wich i can recall, so i saw neat video too, excelent program, but there are a log in image down, and not work in msp8, so if there are any way to clean the vhs image please i will thankfull!! Ahh i saw denoise filter inm msp8, but i think it is so weak yet....thanks!

Rather than trying to clean up a bad capture perhaps you may wish to share with us how you captured the video in the first place.
We may then be able to suggest better/alternative methods that will prevent the noise from being there in the first place.

You may find you can obtain the same effect by a very mild Gaussian blur (1 or 2), followed by a Sharpen edges (2-4). This will attenuate the noise without affecting the desired signal too much. All noise filters reduce edge acuity. I've never found one that I liked.

Steve J, thanks to reply, and i capture using Pinnacle dc10plus from VCR, using rca cables, of course is not better way there are a very good cables in the market...but now i want learn clean up that noise thing...i know you got some tips for good results, if you share with me i will thankfull...and devil i'll tried that without good results, but thanks anyway!
