my system just crashed so i had to reinstall all my programs... before that I was recording shows using my windows media center application and then transferring them into my ulead video studio 10 application.... now it won't work ... all i'm getting is an error stating: unable to open file with this number [19001:1:1]... don't have the slightest idea why it's doing this, hope one of you veterans can help...

Hi Pyana, and welcome to the forums..
First let's try to eliminate some possiblities.
1. What caused your system to crash to the extent of having to reinstall everything? Were you working in VS? If so what were you doing when it crashed?
2. Do you still have the video files you captured, and are they still located in the same place on your system? During a reinstall if you deleted or moved files in project then VS will not be able to locate them and may not try to open them.
3. The project file may have been corrupted in the crash. In that case then you may be back to square 1.
