Timeline Cue

Post by GuyL »

I am editing my first project in VS10 now that I purchased it. I hope I don't embarass myself finding a feature that was there prior to VS10  . Anyway, in the timeline I accidently noticed that you can click on the ruler and creates a "cue". What are these cue's for?

In VS10 you can create chapter points in the timeline - those 'cues' are the chapter start points. If you go through 'Share >> Create Disc' you will see there are chapters already created at the cue points.

Thanks, Brian. That sounds like a great feature. However, I've found another use for them that helps me dramatically. I can now mark a spot very easily where I want to add audio clips for effect. Lining up the audio with the "cue" is easy and then I just remove it.
