Dunno how you managed to get rid of them, but the surest way is to uninstall/reinstall.

I don't know how they disappeared. I have been w/ MP for several years and it has never happened before. I went back on to start a new project and they are gone. There a few video clips sitting in there and that is all. I can tell when MP is loading up that it not loading everything. It goes really fast and it usually takes a little time. I downloaded MP8 when I purchased and I got rid of my download or I would have already reinstalled.

I didn't think about that. Great idea! I appreciate it. I will let you know how it works out. You know you are the guy who was accused of being grumpy! Your not so bad!! Thanks.

I tried system restore but no changes had been made therefore it couldn't restore anything.

I have been continuing to fish for a solution. I made the Production Library really big on my screen to start to work in their for about the 30th time and I noticed a slight little space along the wall of the left hand side of the box. You probably know what's coming!! I ran my mouse over it and it changed from an arrow to two small parrallel bars. I clicked my left button and pulled the screen to the right and there are all my transitions to select!! I can't believe that somehow without knowing it I dragged the bar of the box where you see all the affects and accidentally drug it over all the way covering up my list of affects. Unbelievable!!

I'm all good now.

Thanks!

Glad you got it fixed. I think you need to consider some form of back up in view of the fact that you have lost your original setup files.
You never know when your computer it going to throw a wobbly or die.
