Unzipping Zip files.

It's been a long time (Windows 3.1) since I was unzipping files. What software can I use to do this in XP or 2000? Is there any freeware like that?

XP includes the ability to unzip fles as part of its operting system but not the other way round, ie you cannot create one.

Your main choices are Winzip http://www.winzip.com/

and WinRar http://www.rarlab.com/

There are others available.

Thanks. I have a desktop that runs XP and will check it out. I did download a trial version of WinZip before checking back here for answers.
