What version of Video Studio?

What's the audio format on the DVD?

Some versions of Video Studio do not support AC3 (Dolby) audio. If you have an older version, a trial version, or a "free" SE version, that's most-likely the problem.

As DVDDoug stated, some versions like SE versions do not support Dolby (AC3) audio. Since you are using VS9 SE, then that applies.

Hi

Open Video Studio 9

Go to Tools—product code information.

I see Digital Dolby-status Full as one of the installed Codecs from Ulead.

What do you see?

Now right click the video clip in the timeline and select properties, What is the Audio Type.
