Problem opening Software

Post by Meddy »

I downloaded Photo Express 6 and also bought a back up copy.
For about a week I have been trying to use it, but everytime it says it has encountered a problem and needs to close, It doesn't even get as far as loading. I have used it lots of times and have had this problem only occassionally before. It also does it on my Photo, Scrapbooking 2.
I have only had Photo Express about 3 months, the back up disc I have lent to someone, so do not have it.
I didn't register it so I can't even ask U lead which is who it was downloaded from, I cannot get the activation code because the programme won't open. GGGGRRRR I need the software to work, My sister is using hers without any problems
Please Help Someone Meddy

Your problem looks to me like a windows related issue not a program fault. Lending out backup copies of any software is considered piracy and is a criminal offence.

.

I have been reading your posts and you seem to always point out the things like you have but not answer the original question.., I didn't ask that.
I bought the software, you wouldn't be saying that if I bought a C.D and lent it to someone. I didn't say they were copying it did I ??? So I don't understand the problem. Plus I am still no nearer to solving my problem.
The software has worked fine for about three months with only a few minor problems. What do I do about the windows issue??? Photo scrapbooking is doing the same as Photo Express, But Photo Impact, Paint shopPro and Adobe are all fine.

Sorry if you got offended by my remarks, just pointed out the obvious. If they don't use the software or copy it, what do they need it for?

Be that as it may, I know nothing about your system, neither hardware nor OS. What do you want me to suggest? I would look at the memory for starters, maybe you have a faulty one. Did you change anything else about your system, installed/uninstalled other software, hardware?

Did you try a reinstall of PEX?
