Graduated Transparency
Is there a way to create a graduated transparency (Alpha Setting?) to an object simliar to graduated fills or does this require one of the more pricey applications?

Create a new image with a transparent background.
Create a new object and use Fade-out to control the graduated fill.
Now have a graduated transparent object.
Or, in the component Designer, you can use the feature “Making a Lower One-third.”
Or, hit the keys Ctrl plus F and play with the extended features of the Fill Tool. I am not sure if this requires the advanced WorkSpace or not.
