HC1E and HDV and Testversion and Student ;-)

Hi,
I have the Sony HC1E HDV-Cam and want to test Unlead VideoStudio 10 and the HDV Plugin and MPEG4 Pluging.
I have downloaded the testversion and now I want to download the plugins. But therefore I need a serial number. I want to test the HDV Capturing before I buy it.
How can I do that??

Is there a special price for students to buy Ulead Video Studio 10 or Ulead Video Studio 10 + with the HDV Plugin? Where can I download it, because I need it very urgend!!

Hi Stephanie, and welcome to the forums..

The HDV and MPEG4 plug-ins were part of VS9 as plug-ins. However with VS10 Plus, it is built into the Full purchased version, no plug-in needed. I think the plug-ins you are trying to download are intended for VS9 only. They will not work with VS10 Plus. The serial number it asks for is the serial number for your Registered Version of VS9.

In some regions of the world (for example, Taiwan) Ulead sells products in academy price for students and teachers, however you need to buy it through school. For more details, you need to contact Ulead directly.

And also be aware, from at least one post a few months ago, that at least some of the academic versions may not be the full version... And if it's not the full version, then you will likely not have items you might consider important...
