Distort option problem - VS10

Post by alex1668 »

I have a project with a few overlay. My first track is a picture and my overlay tracks are video's.

In edit mode on my main track under attribute a check the distort option to try it and expand my image in the preview box.

It automaticaly put the distort option on all my overlay tracks.

Then I uncheck the distort on my main track.

The distort option stays on my video overlay tracks.

I cannot find any option, checkbox, etc... in edit mode on my overlay tracks?!?

How do I remove the distort option on my overlay tracks that contains video's?

I have tried to replicate your problem using the supplied I01.jpg in the Video Track, the V10.avi in Overlay #1, and the V12.avi in Overlay #2. When I choose Distort Clip in the Video Track and resize the clip, it does not affect the clips in Overlay 1 & 2. Sorry :(

Is this similar to what you are doing?

(I've since tried filling all Overlay tracks and still works ok.)

yep, I just tried to redo the sequence of event in a new project and I cannot reproduce it

The original project still is off, if I remove the distort it scales back track 1 to original size and track 2 is still strech. If I playback the project it's ok. If I rezize track 2 to what it's suppose to look like and then playback it's then it's too compress

so I will just redo my project.

thanks
